Vermont Nature Photography

When studying eastern philosophy I have often stumbled upon the concept of finding comfort in impermanance. Sand mandalas are a perfect example of this idea: a design of such intricate beauty and painstaking work left to be blown away by the wind. Or a sand castle washed away by the rising ocean tide. The overwhelming beauty found in the mountainous Vermont landscape may appear eternal but remember this land was once covered by a giant ocean and it's rolling valleys carved by glaciers. To truly catch a glimpse of it's magic is a fleeting moment indeed! My nature photography is my best attempt to hold onto those moments I never want to slip away.

You can see many more examples of my nature photography in the Gallery! And purchase prints in the Store!

Portrait Photography

I offer portrait and event photography services for holidays, weddings, glamor, and creative expression. My favorite portraits are those caught without my subjects even knowing it; lost in thought, a laughing smile, a loving stare. I pride myself on my ability to help people feel comfortable enough to let their true beauty shine. If you want a really amazing shot, come with me on a nature hike sometime.

If you're interested in hiring me for a portrait shoot or an event, please contact me for more details.

Performance Photography

To capture someone in the act of creating has an ethereal quality. I've often been heard calling musicians magicians due to the awe I feel witnessing their craft. Dancers, actors, artists, DJs, and all those with the courage to perform are simply moving works of art. I feel deeply honored every time I get permission to steal a moment of their glory to call my own.

Would you like me to bring my camera to your next performance? Get in touch. I'd probably love to be there!
